This role can be based out of either El Segundo or Vancouver, requiring a minimum of 4 days onsite per week.
Job Description:
- The Human Resources Specialist supports the administration, coordination, and evaluation of the HR function for all dental offices in California and Hawaii.
- This position focuses on employee relations and HR support in a multi-site environment, serving 30 offices throughout these two states.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business units being supported and manage all employee relations issues throughout the region.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, directors, and executives.
- Support Regional Vice President and Directors of Operations in implementing performance improvement strategies.
- Work with Operations leaders regarding regional development needs.
- Coach leaders on performance management, behavioral issues, policy interpretations, and terminations to minimize legal exposure.
- Facilitate and mediate interventions to resolve conflict.

- Ability to manage business expectations and resolve concerns by communicating status and issues.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues as necessary.
- Solid and advanced systems capability (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HRIS).
