Job Summary
Our Corporate Development and Strategy team is currently seeking an Intern to support corporate development activity. This candidate will be a part of a fast-paced team working on a wide range of projects. The candidate will support day-to-day activities, including company and market research, financial modeling and analysis and transactional support. Projects may also include assisting the group with proactive efforts through research and analysis of available corporate, financial, patent, and legal information. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently to define project requirements based on the group's stated goals, and develop creative solutions utilizing available technology and tools.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist and support corporate development activity, including research, management and organization related to patent and technology acquisitions, and related M&A activity.
- Support cross-functional due diligence and integration activities
- Perform company and market research and analysis in high tech industries.
- Generation of specialized reports and presentations based on research. Should have good analytical skills and be able to effectively put results into presentable documents, charts, tables and presentations.
- Use available software tools and databases (e.g., corporate, financial, patent, legal) to craft creative solutions in support of proactive Corporate Development efforts.
- Bachelors/Masters student in a Quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills preferred
- Basic understanding of patent, licensing, litigation, and other patent-related transaction terminology preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Possibility for the internship to extend beyond the summer and through the school year.
