    POSITION TITLE: CUSTODIAN (Substitute)
    REPORTS TO: FACILITIES MANAGER

    SUMMARY: Maintains the ISAAC school building in such a state of operating excellence that they represent no problems or interruptions to the educational program.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
    • Assist in maintaining seasonal grounds work (example: snow clean up/clearing).
    • Clean and preserve designated spaces, equipment, etc. in the building.
    • Restock disposable items and provides head custodian with inventory usage and data.
    • Assist visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up needed equipment.
    • Maintain building and grounds security in the building each school day.
    • Working knowledge of the care of custodian machinery and equipment.
    • Knowledge and ability to perform minor building repair work.
    • Ability to substitute for Facilities Manager or other custodian on a short term basis.
    • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
    • Assist in large cleaning and/or repair projects as needed.
    • Perform related work as required by supervisor or other school leadership.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    None.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY, AN INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL DUTY SATISFACTORILY. THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND/OR ABILITY REQUIRED.
