Responsibilities

- Provide crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress or experiencing substance-related emergencies.
- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help clients identify and change maladaptive behaviors associated with substance use.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within hospital settings to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on behavioral health, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
- Offer support for clients dealing with PTSD through specialized care approaches tailored to their needs.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Experience
- A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in substance abuse counseling or behavioral health settings is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy principles and practices is a plus.
