Position summary :
The Process Engineer I will identify improvement opportunities that align with strategic objectives and lead multi-disciplined teams improving existing processes, reducing costs and will assist in the implementation of new manufacturing processes. This will be accomplished through the use of process improvement methodologies : DMAIC, DOE, FMEA, Process Mapping, 6S, etc. This includes, but is not limited to, examining equipment, processes and operations, then making improvements through the definition, development, documentation, training and implementation of the process. Candidates should enjoy both hands-on and theoretical engineering approaches.
Educational requirements :
- BS in Engineering and up to three years Process, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering experience
- In lieu of an Engineering degree, will accept five years of Process Improvement Experience
- Green Belt Certification preferred
