What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Manager, Centralized Installation Scheduling position at Interface Security Systems LLC?
The Senior Manager, Centralized Installation Scheduling will be responsible for the leadership and development of a team of specialists, solely responsible for the dispatching and coordination of our technicians and business partners relating to installation related SOW.
This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail and the ability to adapt, and pivot priorities as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead and supervise the installation dispatch organization, providing coaching and support for a positive installation experience.
- Plan, organize and oversee day- to – day dispatch operations, ensuring technician schedules are adhered to, and address issues using critical thinking skills.
Operations:
- Review, optimize and follow Scheduling Agents availability and volume to ensure proper utilization and efficiency.
- Monitor and assist in qualifying technician and subcontractor partnerships to ensure a seamless installation experience across a wide variety of solutions.
Quality Control:
- Monitor all aspects of quality support for field technicians.
- Conduct regular audits for compliance and partnership.
- Implement and support quality control measures to ensure installations meet both company and client expectations.
- Establish and monitor key performance indictors to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the dispatch organization.
- Review installation/ job statements (SOW) to qualify approved business partners and available installation technicians.
- Approve negotiated purchase orders for assigned labor resources and plan installation jobs based on project requirements, customer preferences and resource availability.
Problem Resolution:
- Address, and resolve quickly, all operational issues that arise.
- Serving as POC for escalations, ensure that specialists and supervisors are supported and provided all resources to resolve issues and foster a positive experience.
Process improvement:
- Contribute to the improvement of scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present needed updates and reports to the SLT and partners.
Qualifications:
- 5 experience in dispatching field resources
- Previous experience in dispatch management
- Previous project management experience
- Strong leadership skills
- In depth industry knowledge (preferred)
- Proven problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills managing multiple schedules and projects.
- Ability to problem solve and pivot priorities, as necessary.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment to collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Strong experience in Microsoft office products.
- Strong experience in ORACLE (preferred)
