Description
The purpose of this position is to monitor all shipping and receiving activities at converting facility, stage WIP for production (laminator, slitter, pouch and bag machines).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize WIP in designated areas, grouping by job number and processing stage in converting. Keep line items numbered job separated by job number and item.

Keep converting warehouse clean and free from clutter organized and film staged correctly.

Use inventory print out to check physical film inventory.

Correctly prepare all outgoing finished pallets for pick-up. (Wrap all finished good pallet and have ready for transport to warehouse.

Stage WIP (work in progress) for each machine and shift.

Pull supplies from warehouse for production floor as needed. (Zipper, wicket, boxes etc.)

Unload supply trucks coming into converting. (Boxes, cores, film, zipper etc.)

Assist with clear up on all production machines.

Assist on the production floor as needed. (Give breaks, help with changeovers, cut cores etc.)

Perform daily for lifts(s) inspections.

Perform other work related duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Help manage supplies inventory. (Notify supervisor when item is getting low)

Label all supplies coming into warehouse.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Qualifications
-
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jack.

Ability to physically count inventory and report needed adjustments.

Ability to read schedule and plan for up-coming jobs. (Example: should have 2 or 3 jobs staged for the laminator in advance depending on size of job.

Ability to manage WIP and stage material based on schedule.

Good organizational skills. (Plan ahead for upcoming jobs, events, etc.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.
