Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Sales Representative. The successful candidate must have proven sales success within the commercial print industry, be client-focused, and have solid print knowledge within the areas of offset and digital printing, direct mail, web-to-print solutions, and promotional product fulfillment. This person will also be charged with identifying new business opportunities with clients and markets that align with our production capabilities.This position does not require one to be onsite daily but would require the ability to be onsite if needed.
Key Experience Required
- Solid understanding of the end-to end commercial print workflow (design, prepress offset, digital, bindery, finishing, mailing, assembly, and fulfillment/warehousing services).
- Proven new business development skills that include prospecting, establishing rapport, identifying needs, presenting solutions, answering objections, closing the sale, and getting resales and referrals.
- Highly adept with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven success in leading sales meetings and presentations using Microsoft Team.
- Experience reviewing and completing Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Knowledge of Sales Force to track leads, prospect information and manage client relationships is a plus, but not required.
Key Qualifications Required
- 5 years minimum experience in commission-based selling in the commercial print industry.
- College degree preferred or extensive industry experience required.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills along with formal presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work successfully independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent people skills, with an ability to work with a dynamic team.
- Flexible and able to multi-task, set priorities, and be resourceful and effective in seeking out information.
- Excellent negotiation, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven success in client relationship management.
