Objective
- We are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Manager to review and ensure our clients’ tax filings are following government and local regulations.
- This role involves working with individuals, families, and businesses with different tax structures (partnership, LLC, S Corp, C Corp, sole proprietor, trust).
Qualifications
- CPA license is required
- Minimum of 10 years of taxation experience
- Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent research skills
- Proficiency in ProConnect or other tax software, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Review federal and multi-state income tax returns for partnerships, corporations, S corporations, trusts and individuals and related income tax workpapers
- Supervise engagements including planning, organization, and execution
- Research complex technical tax issues and provide solutions
- Manage multiple clients while consistently meeting deadlines
- Work closely with clients to advise on income tax issues and related tax planning
- Train and mentor individual team members
- Ensure quality of work product
