Description
ISMG provides armed patrol services to various clients within the Inland Empire. Our Patrol Officers are assigned to patrol our client’s property on foot and by vehicle, protect lives and property, write clear and concise reports, and enforce each client’s rules and regulations for violations. The incumbent will be required to use a company-based two-way radio to communicate with our ISMG dispatch center and provide information for our Computer Automated Dispatch System. The incumbent will also contact unauthorized subjects on the property, conduct field interviews to gather information, appear in court when necessary, provide security for large gatherings, assemblies, or other activities, and conduct investigations relative to assigned cases. The incumbent may be required to perform additional duties that enhance the safety and security of the client’s Communities. Incumbent will also interact with local law enforcement regarding activities on our client's properties. Prior law enforcement experience or a police academy graduate is preferred.
Compensation:
$19.00 to $24.00 Per Hour - Dependent on Training and Experience

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Due to vehicle insurance requirements, you must be at least 21 or older.
- Ability to qualify quarterly with the firearm used on duty.
- Current, Retired, and Reserve Law Enforcement Officer, POST 832 P.C. Certification Module or (POST) Certified Basic Academy Graduate, or prior military experience PREFERRED.
- For qualified candidates, 2 years of experience in a public safety patrol environment may be substituted for Law Enforcement Officer / Academy experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing for public interaction and report writing, writing full, complete, and detailed reports of field incidents.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- A negative result on a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to handle typical crises efficiently and effectively at client sites.

- Ability to work/drive in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk distance, and carry if required 15 lbs or more
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work weekends and night shift
- Valid California Guard Card (required before employment)
- Valid California Exposed Firearms Card (required before employment).
- Valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Valid Tear Gas and Pepper Spray Permit.
- Ability to carry a Taser
- Comes to work; is on time and completes shift assignments (including overtime, if assigned).
- Has a neat, professional appearance and comes to work in a complete and clean assigned uniform per company policy.
