Cellist, Assistant Director at InterHarmony International Music Festival
An international music festival and online music conservatory is looking for someone who can create posts and content on multiple social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The candidate will need to help grow the number of followers, connections, and subscribers with a relevant network of fans and audience members of classical music, classical musicians, and aspiring classical musicians / young artists.
Experience in the Arts and classical music are a must, as the content of the posts will be geared towards that audience. It is important for the candidate to have experience growing social media audience bases and present ongoing strategies to enhance visibility and content. We are looking for content-driven and authentic audience growth and interaction.
Using a computer and not a mobile phone, the candidate will be posting 2-3 times per week during our busy seasons, helping with promotion for concerts and other projects that can happen at least 12 times each year. Possible communication through social media with our base is also involved. The candidate must schedule these posts 1-2 months in advance and monitor their progress in popularity, making changes accordingly. The person will also be replying to comments and messages and 'liking' comments as needed on the platforms.
Another task includes working with a music social media program that includes a database and scheduling messages to go out each day - at least 100. The candidate will also be responding to any incoming messages. The person must be good at composing emails, think creatively about what will get people's attention, and work with platforms similar to Notion.
Experience with a social media scheduling platform like Loomly is a must.
