Job Details for School/Club Van Driver:

• Job Type: Part Time
• Area of coverage; Lackawanna County
• Pay up to $17 per hour
• Typical Hours M-F between 1pm to 4pm
  • averaging 10-30 hours per week

The Van Driver will be responsible for the transport of students from school to extra curricular activities and will oversee a variety of activities at specific venues. The Driver will ensure the safety and well-being of children, while also providing a positive and engaging experience.

Responsibilities for the School/Club Van Driver:

• Safely operate a van, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Transport children, adhering to all relevant safety and security protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized van, including regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Provide assistance to children, as needed, including helping them with their belongings and ensuring they arrive safely
• Develop and maintain a positive and supportive environment for all children
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other support staff to ensure the needs of all children are met

Minimum Requirement for the School/Club Van Driver:

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Experience driving a van or similar vehicle
• Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and camp activities
• Strong communication skills with children and adults
