As a Licensed Practical Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Work 1:1 with a student with special needs
- Tube Feedings, Medication Administration
- Ride the bus with student to and from school
- Help student with activities throughout the day
A few must-haves for Licensed Practical Nurses:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in Minnesota
- Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience in a medical facility
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
