What are the responsibilities and job description for the CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE | $24-$27/HR | SELF-SCHEDULING position at Interim HealthCare Eastern Dakotas?
From Yankton to Irene, Wakonda and Beresford, from Marion to Sioux Falls, & from Brandon to Brookings, we are Interim HealthCare!
Job Duties May Include :
- PRN, Self-Scheduling and / or Contract Staffing in Long-Term Care Facilities, and / or Assisted Living Settings
- Medication Aide care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease
- Aide with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail / skin care, eating and nutritional intake, if applicable
- Assist with any applicable medication pass for resident / patients
- Work with a team of nurse aides and / or medication aides, etc., to ensure a patient’s care plan is followed
- Observe patient as needed and notify facility supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication etc., if necessary
- Other Medication Aide responsibilities, as needed
