Interim HealthCare, a leading provider of home healthcare services, is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Sterling, Va. Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $55 to $65 per hour, based on experience, with biweekly pay. Learn as you grow program and a Flexible work schedule
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes within the designated area
Conduct thorough evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for each patient
Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients
Educate patients and their families on appropriate exercises and activities to aid in their recovery and improve daily functioning
Adhere to all state and federal guidelines and regulations related to occupational therapy practice
Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient care and progress
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Virginia
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an occupational therapist in a clinical or home health setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
Working knowledge of state and federal regulations related to occupational therapy practice
