Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT)
As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will provide customized therapy to patients in the comfort of their own homes, optimizing outcomes and helping them regain independence.
You will work as part of a home health team, including RNs, PTs, SLPs, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement personalized plans of care for each patient.
Your Role
- Assess Patient Needs: Evaluate patients' abilities and identify areas where they need assistance with daily tasks.
- Develop Therapy Plans: Create customized plans of care that address patients' specific needs and goals.
- Provide Occupational Therapy: Use creative strategies to help patients perform everyday activities, such as exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination.
- Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their families about plan of care, exercises, and self-care techniques.

Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited OT Program: Active OT license in Michigan required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare.
- Certifications: CPR certification required.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with state and federal home health regulations.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, resourceful, and compassionate.
