As a Hospice Sales Specialist at Interim HealthCare Home Health and Hospice, you will play a critical role in marketing our hospice services to potential referral sources and increasing hospice referral volumes and market share within your designated service area.

The ideal candidate will:
- Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, including assisted living facilities, physician practices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and community resources
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients
- Develop account development strategies to sell and secure growth in account market share with large complex referral and payer organizations
- Use a customer relationship management system to track and report on activity, monitor account development status, and plan next steps
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager to establish and monitor the process to track all referral activity, including sources and disposition
- Meet with operational managers to monitor customer service levels and review identified target accounts
- May have access to personal health information necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities
- Meet minimum productivity standards as established and documented in Addendum to this description
Requirements include:
- Prior medical, hospice, or home care sales experience is preferred
- A Bachelor's degree in a business-related subject or equivalent years of training and work experience
- Two to three years of successful sales experience with comparable customers, preferably healthcare services
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels within and outside the company
- Familiarity with hospice, home healthcare services, referral sources, and payers
- Reliable transportation with a valid state driver's license and valid auto insurance
