School Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

- MUST be able to start IMMEDIATELY
Currently seeking qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) candidates to staff full-time contracts for a variety of schools in Indianapolis!. 1-2 years of recent and related experience is required. Current pay is $30 an hour. This is a day shift position. We are looking for someone who is willing to commit and be reliable. Hours are from 8:00am-3:00pm.
Pediatric Clinic and or School Clinic Experience REQUIRED

Responsibilities of the School Nurse – LPN
- Effectively triage students
- Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the school
- Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Provide basic first aid care
- Complete patient documentation
Requirements of the Registered Nurse – LPN
- Active LPN license with in the state of Indiana
- 1-2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility
- Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure
- Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
- Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
