Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and clinically capable Scheduler & Clinical Support Specialist to join our dynamic home care team. This hybrid role is ideal for a Medical Assistant (MA) or Experienced Scheduler with excellent communication skills, a strong sense of professionalism, and a passion for supporting both clients and caregivers.
This individual will play a key role in hiring and onboarding staff, managing schedules, and providing PRN clinical coverage—ensuring our care operations run smoothly and our clients receive high-quality, uninterrupted care.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding

Answer incoming calls during scheduled hours with professionalism

Follow up daily with applicants and candidates to schedule interviews and move them through the hiring pipeline.

Assist with interviews and collaborate on hiring decisions.

Enter new hires into agency's HR system

Conduct general orientation sessions: review of company handbook, policies, culture, and expectations.

Provide new hires with login credentials and initial system training.

Communicate new hire information to the office team promptly and clearly.

Deliver weekly updates on hiring progress and upcoming needs.
Scheduling & Coordination

Coordinate LPN and MA schedules in collaboration with the office team.

Monitor open shifts and provide PRN coverage for urgent needs, with a focus on high-acuity clients (e.g., total care cases).

Maintain strong communication with caregivers and families to ensure satisfaction and reliability.

Support the smooth execution of all staffing plans, ensuring continuity of care.
Clinical & Professional Development

Be prepared to step into a patient care role as needed, within the scope of practice (MA/HHA).

Foster a professional, respectful, and positive work atmosphere.

Collaborate closely with administration, case managers, and HR to support care goals.

Complete ongoing professional development and maintain all required licensure and certifications.
Qualifications:

Active MA certification (strongly desired)

At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare or home care setting

Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Proficient with scheduling platforms, HR systems, and basic computer skills

Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle urgent scheduling needs

Passionate about providing excellent patient care and supporting caregiving teams

Demonstrates professionalism, flexibility, and a team-player attitude
Preferred Skills:

Experience with HR & scheduling/charting systems

Knowledge of state regulations and compliance standards in home care
