Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to seniors, enabling them to live safely at home.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and companionship.
- Help with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises.
- Remind clients of their medication and document any concerns or issues.
- Maintain a safe home environment by ensuring unobstructed pathways.
- Engage clients in activities that bring them joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of relative experience in caregiving or a related field.
- CPR certification.
- Valid PA driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- A compassionate and helping nature, good communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
