School/Club Van Driver

Job Details:

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Area of Coverage: Lackawanna County
• Hourly Rate: Up to $17 per hour
• Typical Hours: Monday to Friday between 1 pm and 4 pm

The Van Driver will be responsible for transporting students from school to extra-curricular activities while ensuring their safety and well-being. They will also oversee various activities at designated venues, promoting a positive and engaging experience for the children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a van, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport children, following all relevant safety and security protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized van, including regular cleaning and sanitizing.
• Provide assistance to children as needed, helping with their belongings and ensuring their safe arrival.
• Develop and maintain a supportive environment for all children.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other support personnel to meet the needs of all children.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving a van or similar vehicle.
• Experience working with children, preferably in childcare or educational settings.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and camp activities.
• Strong communication skills with children and adults.
