Description Of The Role

Interim HealthCare in Novi, MI is seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for a School Setting in South Lyon, Michigan. This position is responsible for the care of special need student in the school setting while maintaining an presence for order and management of the school body.

Responsibilities

• Responding quickly and efficiently to medical emergencies within the school setting.
• Works with the general school staff to promote order and authority.
• Assessing the situations and providing appropriate medical treatment.
• Administering first aid, CPR, and other emergency medical procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records of all medical treatments.
• Integrates with the school staff as part of the team.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid EMT certification.
• Able to lift 125lbs from ground.
• Prior experience working as an EMT in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
