Nurse Practitioner - Contingent - Hospice and Palliative Care

Description of the role:
The Nurse Practitioner - Contingent position at Interim HealthCare in Novi, MI involves providing patient care under the supervision of a physician. The NP will travel to patients' homes, assess, diagnose, and treat patients, as well as prescribe medication and order diagnostic tests. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and routine visits on patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare topics
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Adhere to healthcare regulations and ethical guidelines

Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan
- Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Knowledge of current healthcare practices and regulations
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
