Description of the role :
Interim HealthCare of Sarasota County is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team for staffing in a Sarasota clinic.
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing pediatric care services.
Must have Athena software experience.
Responsibilities :
- Assist healthcare professionals in routine clinical and clerical tasks
- Collect and document patient information, including medical history and vital signs
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare professionals
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups using Athena software
- Handle patient inquiries and provide educational materials when necessary
