What You'll Do
- Care for Patients: Assist with personal care and hygiene needs, such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Assist with Mobility: Help patients with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Monitor Patient Conditions: Report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification: Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Michigan is mandatory.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
