What You'll Do as a CNA
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care and hygiene services to patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides, to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
- Help with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document any changes.
