As a Medical Billing and Insurance Verification Clerk, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Responsible for all aspects of patient/client billing and collections.
- Prepares reports, summaries, records and related forms and document and maintains files.
- Provides insurance verification activities for new and existing patients.
- Posts payments to accounts when received.
A few must-haves for our Medical Bill and Insurance Verification Clerks:

- Minimum one (1) year healthcare billing experience.
- One (1) year Medicare billing experience with home health and hospice accounts.
- Detail oriented with strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
