About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team at Interim HealthCare Personal Care and Support.
As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and dignity. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
You will also be responsible for helping clients with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises, providing medication reminders, documenting their condition, and notifying a supervisor of any concerns.
A safe home environment is essential, so you will ensure that pathways are unobstructed and assist clients with maintaining a clean and organized living space.
In addition to providing hands-on care, you will engage clients in activities that bring them joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
