Caregivers with Interim HealthCare play a vital role in the interdisciplinary team, providing hands-on personal care to seniors in their homes. As an extension of therapy or nursing services, they report changes in clients' conditions and perform simple procedures. They also provide incidental and instrumental activities of daily living, as evaluated and delegated.

The job duties for caregivers include:
- Providing personal care and support for seniors to live safely at home
- Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
- Helping with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises
- Providing medication reminders and documenting client conditions
- Maintaining a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
- Participating in activities that bring joy to clients, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies
