Caregiver/Home Health Aide (HHA)

As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide hands-on personal care to clients in their home setting. This includes reporting changes in the client's condition, performing simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, and providing incidental/instrumental activities of daily living.

Job Duties for Caregivers

• Provide essential support and care to seniors, enabling them to live safely at home.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
• Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises.
• Remind clients to take medication, document their condition, and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Promote clients' joy through activities like puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.

Job Requirements

• 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course/certificate.
• 2 positive professional references.
