What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Interim HealthCare Personal Care and Support?
Caregiver/Home Health Aide (HHA)
As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide hands-on personal care, report changes in the client's condition, perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, and provide incidental/instrumental activities of daily living to clients in their home setting.

Your job duties as a caregiver will include:
- Providing the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
- Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
- Helping with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises
- Providing medication reminders and documenting the client's condition, notifying a supervisor of any concerns
- Maintaining a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
- Participating in activities that bring joy to the clients, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies
To be eligible for this role, you will need:
- 6 months prior adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course/certificate
- 2 positive references from previous employers or supervisors
