About the Job:
The successful candidate will have 6 months prior adult caregiving experience or the completion of a CNA course/certificate. They will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
- Help with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises
- Provide medication reminders and document client conditions
- Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
- Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies
