Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our team as Caregivers and Support Specialists. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide hands-on personal care, report changes in the client's condition, and perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
- Assist with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises
- Provide medication reminders, document the client's condition, and notify a supervisor of any concerns
- Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
- Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies
Requirements:
- 6 months prior adult caregiving experience OR the completion of a CNA course/certificate
- 2 positive references
