What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Support Worker position at Interim HealthCare Personal Care and Support?
Caregivers at Interim HealthCare Personal Care and Support are responsible for providing essential personal care and support services to seniors in their homes. This includes assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
In addition to these duties, our caregivers also help with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises. They ensure a safe home environment by maintaining unobstructed pathways and notify supervisors of any concerns related to client health or safety.
We recognize the importance of providing comprehensive care that extends beyond physical needs. Our caregivers participate in activities that bring joy to clients, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies, promoting mental and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
- 6 months prior adult caregiving experience OR the completion of a CNA course/certificate
- 2 positive references
