Hourly rates: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm

We are currently seeking a Medical Records Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, compiling, maintaining, reviewing, and distributing patient, caregiver, and non-management employee documentation in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will follow company policies and standardized processes to manage client/patient records effectively while ensuring compliance. Additionally, you will handle external requests for information, preparing copies for review before distribution.

As a Medical Records Clerk, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Maintain all patient/client records.
- Understand the relationship between records administration and all other processes. Has knowledge and adheres to company and state policies.
- Responsible for performing reviews of all charts, keeping information accurate, current, and complete.
A few must-haves for Medical Records Clerks:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical records experience, preferably in a health care environment is preferred.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Must Possess strong integrity and attention to detail.
- Clerical experience including basic computer skills, organizational skills, good time management skills, and proficient data entry.
