We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care to seniors in our assisted living/memory care communities. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and health of our residents.
About the Role:
This per diem position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work various shifts, including day shifts Monday through Friday, as well as occasional weekend or on-call needs. You will have the chance to grow and expand your hours within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Care: Provide comprehensive health assessments, medication management, and overall health status monitoring for residents in assisted living/memory care facilities.
- Care Coordination: Coordinate and communicate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for residents.
- Education and Support: Provide education to residents and their families on disease management, preventative care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Requirements:
- Nursing Degree: Possess a RN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Hold a current and valid RN license in the state of Minnesota.
- Geriatric Experience: Have previous experience in geriatric nursing.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and colleagues.
