Pay: $75 - $85/hr depending on experience!
Location: Temporary assignments available at various clinical/hospital settings throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN metro areas.
Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time and Per Diem opportunities available.

Position Summary:
To perform echocardiographic procedures on adult patients in the Cardiology Noninvasive Laboratory including M-Mode echocardiography, Two-Dimensional echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, pulsed, continuous wave, and color flow doppler echocardiography, stress echocardiography, dobutamine echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and to perform related duties as assigned. This position supports and participates in achieving departmental goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Obtains diagnostic information used to evaluate patients for heart disease.
- Prepares studies for interpretation by using on and off line computers to measure pertinent information for interpretation.
- Assists cardiologists with interpretation of echocardiograms and Doppler echocardiograms.
- Participates in the IV start and injection procedure for contrast echocardiography.
- Operates manual and automatic blood pressure equipment.
- Performs a 3D ejection fraction/volume on various patients daily.
- Exercise Stress and Dobutamine Echocardiograms.
- Transesophageal Echocardiograms
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program.
- Registration or registry eligible as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
- 1 Year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
- Will be required to become certified in CPR.
