Personal Care Aide / Caregiver Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Caregiver. As a PCA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
Job Summary
This is a part-time / full-time position serving the Tri County Area. You will earn competitive pay while helping seniors live safely and happily at home. Your responsibilities may include bathing and dressing, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
About the Role
As a PCA or Caregiver, you will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care and support to seniors in their homes
- Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
- Helping with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises
- Providing medication reminders and documenting client conditions
- Maintaining a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
- Participating in activities that bring clients joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Six months of experience in a healthcare role (preferred)
- A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- A compassionate and caring nature, good communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
