The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Trained Medication Aide to join our team. This individual will be responsible for administering medications, assisting with patient care, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications to patients as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Patient Care Assistance: Assist with patient care tasks, ensuring the highest standard of care is maintained.
- Medication Monitoring: Monitor resident's response to medication and report any concerns or changes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure medication storage and handling comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient medication records.
Requirements
- A Trained Medication Aide (TMA) diploma verifying a minimum of 48 hours of training.
- A current CNA registry with the state of MN.
- One year of experience working in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems.
