Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assistant Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong attention to detail.
The role involves coordinating patient care, managing medical records, and facilitating effective communication between healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients in a clinic setting
- Taking vital signs and other pertinent physical measurements
- Reviewing charts of pertinent information
- Preparing exam rooms for patient setup and procedures
- Preparing charts for patient appointments
- Facilitating timely and accurate flow of communication within the clinic/location
- Cleaning and sterilizing procedures support infection control and OSHA standards
- Clinic supplies are adequately stocked and well organized
- Administering vaccinations and managing in-basket tasks
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited MA program
- 6 months of recent relevant work experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting (Family Practice/Pediatrics Experience)
- Phlebotomy/Lab experience preferred but not required
- BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling
- Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions
