Job Description
As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will perform quality, efficient, and precise diagnostic Computerized Tomography in accordance with established protocols.
Responsibilities
- You will interact with patients and respond to questions/concerns regarding the procedure.
- You will document all needed aspects of the procedure accurately.
- You will maintain a safe environment in the procedure space.
- You will use Epic.
- You will verify that all imaging has transferred to the imaging storage and retrieval system.
- You will communicate with supervisors and team members.
- You will demonstrate knowledge of diagnostic equipment and perform procedures with a high degree of accuracy.
- You will report problems or issues with systems or equipment.
Requirements
- You must have active ARRT certification.
- You must have BLS certification within the last six months.
- You must be able to safely and efficiently operate the following: CT equipment, patient transfer devices, security systems, fire alarms, three-dimensional workstations, emergency equipment, power injectors, PCs, and printers.
