CT / X-Ray Technologist- Weekend Overnights

Schedule / Shifts : 36 hours / week, 12 hour Overnight shifts, Friday - Sunday.

Location : Hospital / Clinic settings in Alexandria, MN.

Pay rate : Up to $75 , depending on experience, plus $4,000 completion bonus. (Comes out to roughly $3,000 / week)

This is considered a temporary assignment that is expected to last around 13 weeks, potentially longer!
Potential for CT Training for the right X-Ray Tech candidates without that prior experience!

What we ask of you :

Screen patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the examination.

Prepares patients for CT procedures, explaining the procedure, and positioning patient's body parts appropriately.

Perform routine and advanced CT procedures on designated portions of the body used by physicians to diagnose and treat a patient's illness / injury with minimal supervision while providing patient support throughout the procedure. Adjust CT scan parameters and dose reduction techniques as needed.

Maintain a positive attitude and working relationships with radiology team, follow physician instructions precisely, and accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).

Maintain a clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers, and maintain equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect after each use.

Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements, and ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.

Assist with maintaining an updated CT protocol manual and software upgrades, and monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.

All other duties as assigned.

What we require of you :

ARRT certification , current and in good standing.

Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.

Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.

Experience and comfort utilizing CT equipment / techniques.

CT certification is preferred.

Bilingual preferred but not required.
