This per diem opportunity offers flexible day shift hours Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend or on-call needs. If you have experience in geriatric nursing and a passion for providing high-quality care to elderly individuals, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments for residents, including medication management and overall health status monitoring.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) on your shift.
- Provide education to residents and their families on disease management, preventative care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, following established protocols and providing immediate care as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and communications related to resident care.
