Job Description: Human Resource Specialist
As a passionate and driven HR professional, you will make an impact in our fast-paced office. We're looking for a Human Resource Specialist with experience in healthcare who brings energy, creativity, and leadership to our team.
- Ensure HR file compliance and maintain meticulous records.
- Navigate employee and labor relations to foster positive interactions.
- Manage employee resources and provide essential support.
- Drive employee retention strategies and initiatives.
- Assist with employee development programs to promote growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- Develops and implements department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Assists with benefits administration and affirmative action program.
- Conducts new-employee orientations and handles employee relations counseling.
- Maintains company organization charts and employee directories.
- Maintains compliance with required business postings.
- Manages Workman Compensation and assists with unemployment/employee file requests.
- Participates in QAPI for all departments and maintains Human Resource Information System records.
- Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree and three (3) to five (5) years of Healthcare Human Resources experience, or a similar combination of education and experience.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
- Healthcare background preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and excellent time management and organizational skills.
