What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammographer- Full Time- Up to $55/ Hour position at Interim HealthCare Staffing?
Interim Healthcare Staffing is currently hiring a full-time Mammographer to their team ASAP! This is an exciting opportunity at a premier radiology clinic located in Edina, MN! We are looking for a skilled and empathetic professional who can guide patients through their tests and procedures in a caring envorimnent.
Schedule is Monday - Friday 8-4:30 with the ability to stay until 5pm if needed
Pay rate: $50-$55 per hour (DOE)
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Currently AART certification including Mammography.
- Two years of Mammography experience desired, diagnostic mammography preferred.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with a huge emphasis on quality care.
- Detail oriented
- Team player
Responsibilities:
- Performs mammography services.
- Verifies the appropriate patient for each examination.
- Verifies appropriate procedure to be performed by checking orders and correlating with the patient’s symptoms and problems.
- Thoroughly explains the nature of the procedure to the patient to alleviate patient anxiety associated with the exam and /or equipment.
- Provides the necessary assistance to the radiologist and/or physician with procedures.
- Assists Radiologist and Ultrasound Technologist with invasive breast procedures.
- The ability to also do general radiology and dexa scan is preferable.
- Maintains a high level of patient confidentiality in adherence with HIPAA guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
