As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, interacting with patients and clinicians, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a CT Technologist will include:
- Performing quality control checks on CT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Documenting patient information, scan details, and image quality accurately.
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control guidelines.
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in CT technology and radiation safety practices.
Requirements
To be successful as a CT Technologist, you must have:
- Active ARRT certification.
- BLS certification within the last six months and continuous maintenance.
- The ability to safely and efficiently operate various medical devices, including CT equipment, patient transfer devices, security systems, fire alarms, Three Dimensional workstations, emergency equipment, Power Injector, PC, and printers.
- A willingness to train and maintain competencies.
