Certified Trained Medication Aides play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of seniors in assisted living and memory care facilities. We are currently seeking Certified TMA's to work with us in Pine City and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and want to make a positive impact in their community.
As a Certified TMA, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily needs, including administering medications, providing personal care, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive the highest quality care.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate from a Trained Medication Aide course of at least 48 hours, a CNA certificate, and current status on the MN CNA Registry. You will also need to have 6 months of experience working in a nursing home or assisted living facility, as well as 6 months of experience as a TMA. Additionally, you must be able to communicate effectively in English and possess strong charting skills in electronic medical records systems.
