What You Will Do
You will provide occupational therapy to patients who are unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury. This may involve assessing patients, observing deficits, establishing therapy goals, and documenting progress.
As a member of our home health team, you will work alongside nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized plans of care for each patient.
You will assist patients with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination, suggest adaptive equipment such as grab bars and shower chairs, and educate patients and families on their plan of care, exercises, and self-care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and active OT license in South Carolina.
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare.
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
- Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and compassion.
