What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Technician with Medication Administration position at Interim HealthCare Staffing?
As a Patient Care Technician with Medication Administration experience, you will be responsible for supporting residents in assisted living and memory care facilities.
We offer flexible scheduling with availability on all three shifts, including weekends and short notice shifts.
About the Role:
- You will work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
- You will assist with cares and daily activities, promoting independence among residents and enhancing their overall quality of life
Requirements:
- Certificate from a Trained Medication Aide course of at least 48 hours
- CNA certificate and current status on the MN CNA Registry
- 6 months of Nursing Home or Assisted Living experience
- 6 months of experience as a TMA
- High school diploma/GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass criminal background checks
- Ability to communicate in English in both verbal and written form
