This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe and effective administration of medications to patients. Key responsibilities include:
- Safely administering prescribed medications to patients as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Providing assistance with patient care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitoring resident's response to medication and reporting any concerns or changes to the healthcare team.
Requirements for this role include a minimum of 48 hours of training as a Trained Medication Aide, registration with the state of MN as a CNA, and at least one year of experience working in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility. You must also be at least 18 years old, able to communicate effectively in English, and pass a criminal background check.
We offer a competitive salary range of $28-$34 per hour, depending on shift differential, and a $1,500 hiring bonus for full-time employees. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, PTO accrual based on hours worked, and next-day pay available for all associates.
